Absolutely horrible experience with rude staff. Very disappointing to be met with hostile attitude from guy who runs the place. I opted to stay elsewhere at the last minute rather than put up with being treated terribly. I will be asking for a refund!

Manager/owner was rude & clearly didn't like caravans paying to take up room in his caravan park! ??‍♂️
At our water connection point, there were 2 taps to supply 4 caravan/camping sites & after we'd hooked up to ours, the angry manager told us to use the water 2 sites & 20 metres away (luckily we had 2 hoses for the extra length).
Then 2 camping sites with various campers over the next 4 nights got charged full rates with no water.
The park was not maintained well, both womens/mens amenities were disgusting & this park was clearly way over priced!
The 1 star is just for the kind, friendly office lady that initially booked us in & informed of the awesome whale watching in Hervey Bay.

Apparently the park was great before this guy took over, he has let some of the permanent residents know that he hates caravans & is aiming to cater exclusively to permanent residents, please don't waste your time staying here.

A quiet privately run caravan park that backs onto a canal on 3 sides. Very friendly staff, bbqs and kitchen facilities plus a pool. Very short walk to the bowls club and 5 minutes drive from the beach.
Very tranquil.

Rooms were clean & tidy but I had to ask for condiments ( coffee/ milk / sugar ) & was told that we had to bring our own soap etc. we work away a lot & this was a one night stay- last time I visit ,

We totally enjoyed our stay there! Everything was really clean, it was a nice place and the most important thing: the runner of the camping site! He and his daughter were really friendly and gave us a lot of advices (where to go for dinner, help for our Fraser Island tour, which stops we should do on our way to Sydney...) and we could ask him everything. We had a great time there!

Nice location, very quiet and secure park.
About 30mins walk to town/beachfront area.
Amenities were great! Camp kitchen fairly well equipped and whole park is very quiet at night.

What a beautiful and relaxing place to be. Amenities are cleaned everyday, bike and walking track right outside the gate. Camp kitchen is very clean and the pool is a lovely place to relax and enjoy a quiet swim.
The owners are so friendly and helpful. I can absolutely recommend this park.

Nice quiet caravan park. We stayed in a lovely cabin for the night. Nice clean and comfortable accommodation. Our dog stayed outside in her cage and there is a nice little bush walk just outside to take her.

What a great little park, quiet and clean. Roly and Georgia were fantastic hosts and made us feel so welcome from the instant we got there. Great location for an easy bike ride down to the esplanade and along the beach. Didn’t need to drive at all. We’ll be back - awesome spot?

What a great hidden gem of a dog friendly caravan park.
Follow and the team had not long taken over and their hospitality was faultless.
It’s not the newest, flashiest caravan park in town, but it was peaceful, clean and very reasonably priced. We originally were only staying in Hervey Bay for one night, but once we settled in we decided to stay for three nights.
Amenities were very clean and everything is not far away. We will definitely be back when next on the Fraser Coast.?

Be aware if wanting a en suite cabin. We rented for 2 adults and 2 grandchildren. It was a tight fit. Lovely new owner, friendly, BUT discovered there was no soap to use in shower, bathroom light n/w, only 1 cracked mug for coffee and screen door got stuck locking us in for a while. . Very overpriced for what you get.

Probably the best Caravan Park I have been in so far in Australia! The owner and the daughter have to been the most grates Australian people I have ever greeted!
Lovely place and it’s just so beautiful!
I’m definitely coming back!

We stayed here for a Saturday night. One reason for choosing this location was the description of being pet friendly. As we were bringing two Toy Poodles I confirmed when booking this was suitable. I was told yes, the dogs are welcome. At no stage were any restrictions given on our dogs.
Within approximately 15 minutes of establishing our caravan our two dogs barked at the neighbours dog. This is not unusual, dogs do bark on occasion, usually to communicate. The two dogs have quite soft barks, they are both less than 4 kgs and very small. Their small barks were sporadic over a period of less than two minutes. This was verified by others. To my surprise, the male owner rushed to me where I was sitting with the dogs and chastised me for their barking. Apparently there is no tolerance for dogs barking which is strange for a place advertising as pet friendly.
I appreciate no one wants to hear incessant dog barking and this would never have been allowed by us.
The next morning the neighbouring caravaners also commented that the owner was rude and over the top in his reaction.
On leaving my wife returned the security key and offered feedback. My wife informed the husband and wife owners of our dissatisfaction with their behaviour. This was followed by confirmation that dogs are welcome as long as they are mute.
My advice to anyone planning to take their dogs to this site is to ensure you have their vocal chords removed first.
The offer of welcoming pets, especially dogs, implies there is an expectation and acceptance the dogs will bark at some time. The behavior and expectations of the owners could possibly be construed as a breach of contact. Maybe a civil suit will be made by someone in future.
We won't be visiting again and do not recommend this site to anyone with dogs. Additionally, the owners are rude both over the phone and in person. Buyer beware.

Don't bother with the complainers - this van Park is the best in Hervey Bay by far! fog and pet friendly. Drive through sites and a 'Divorce Avoider' caravan parking service for the newbies! The best, most modern, functional clean & maintained toilet and shower facilities we've seen so far. Really quiet, very close to all you need. Clean camp kitchen area, swimming pool and easy to get to black water disposal.
Iron tight security day and night, friendly helpful office staff, lovely friendly live-in permanents, even a spare block of land you can store your van on for $10 a week! Why stay anywhere else?
