What a strange and difficult time we find ourselves in during the Corona Virus pandemic. Here at Hervey Bay Caravan Park we are doing our best to maintain a safe and clean park.
We still have our permanent residents in the park and can also offer accommodation to people who are essential workers away from home or people who require interim accommodation because their principal place of residence is not available.
We are looking forward to welcoming back all our regular visitors when the Covid-19 restrictions are eventually lifted.
The Queensland government has released its proposed roadmap for the easing of restrictions.
Stage 1 will commence on Friday 15 May 2020, which allows recreational travel (day trips only) up to 150km within your region
Stage 2, (if numbers stay low) will commence midnight on 12 June, allowing overnight recreational travel in caravan parks up to 250km within your region. This means we can take bookings for the night of 13 June and beyond if you live within 250km of Hervey Bay. Note: this 250km limit is measured by radius from your principal place of residence (as the crow flies), not the actual distance travelled in your vehicle.
Stage 3, (again if numbers stay low) will commence from 10 July and will give consideration to allowing intrastate and interstate travel.
Please feel free to check our website or phone the park when these changes come into effect, we would love to welcome you back.
